久別了的外出探究活動終於能在緊守防疫措施下回歸了！今天全體六年級同學都懷著既興奮又感恩的心情前往香港太空館參觀，為探究單元「同一星球下」進行更深入，更豐富的延伸學習。 過程中同學表現投入積極，認真自律。從觀看展品、參與互動實驗、欣賞天象電影，至記錄筆記，他們也樂在其中。 希望是次的學習活動能提升同學們對本單元的興趣，以更多元化的方式提升其研集技能，深化他們對有關知識的理解。 空餘時，不妨再自行到太空館參觀啊﹗

在 2021年9月28日上午，啓思小學六年級學生前往將軍澳啓思中學參觀，了解中學部學生的上課情況及學習環境。 當日，啓思中學特別安排位於C座教學樓地下的STEAM室，招待小學部的校長和師生。這個「演員休息準備室」(Green Room)剛裝修竣工，是個讓師生製作高質素影片的地方。當中學校長和老師簡單介紹學校後，中學的學生大使就帶領小學的同學，分組前往不同的課室參觀。接著，每個六年級學生都當了半堂的中學生，與中學同學一起在課室上課，體驗啓思中學的教學方式。 6A2班蘇怡同學在參觀過啓思中學後，發現啓思中學原來是她心儀的夢想學校。她喜歡啓思中學像外國學校的環境和氛圍。而6A2班曾靖喻同學就已經報名申請入學，她表示媽媽一直有留意中學部的網頁資訊，認為啓思中學很適合她。 中一級紫荊社陳凱晴同學來自啓思小學，她很開心能在課堂上與來自母校的師弟妹一起學習，希望他們會喜歡這裡的學習環境。而中一級紫荊社李詠琳同學則來自本地傳統的小學，她喜歡啓思中學的多元化學習，學生在課堂上有很多機會互動，與老師和同學有不少交流和溝通，令學習更有成效，所以她很鼓勵其他小學畢業生入讀啓思中學。

今年學校的年度主題是「胸懷大志 力爭上游」（Aim High . Strive & Thrive） 為了讓同學對這主題更加熟悉，學校舉行了「年度主題急口令比賽」，由各班推舉一位代表和其他同級代表一較高下。是次比賽競爭激烈，但笑聲此起彼落，最後由以下同學奪得各級殊榮： 1A4 陳靖行 2A4 黎柏希 3A1 陳宇皓 4A1 歐 文 5A2徐朗堃 6A1 余建熹 還望日後同學對這主題能有更深入的理解，潛移默化，實踐於日常生活之中，成為一個「胸懷大志 力爭上游」的人。

為推廣中國文化，並提升學習趣味，啓思小學中文科特意於中秋前夕舉辦猜燈謎活動，讓全校師生感受佳節的氣氛。 同學們在中文科老師的帶領下，甫踏進掛滿彩燈與燈謎的「中文學習園地」，隨即感受到濃濃的節日氣氛。在七彩繽紛的燈籠下，同學們從壁佈及老師的講解認識中秋節的起源、傳說及習俗後，便急不及待地參與猜燈謎遊戲。各級謎題按學生的能力而設計，有不同的深淺程度，內容多元化，範圍遍及字謎、日常用品、節慶食品、自然現象、動植物、中國四大發明等，十分益智有趣。 同學們興高采烈地看着各道謎題，展開了熱烈的討論及思考，不少人很快便想到謎底，更大方地與同學分享。對於較艱深的謎語，老師則從旁提點，引導同學猜想答案。接受訪問的3A1班陳雋諾同學便是當中的表表者，他與同學嘗試聯繫日常閱讀所知及對生活的觀察所得去猜想答案，不消一會兒便想出好幾個謎底來！他表示這是他第一次玩猜燈謎遊戲，希望來年也可以繼續參加這種富挑戰性又有趣的活動。 透過這個節慶活動，同學們對中國傳統節日有更多的認識，在猜燈謎的過程中，進一步了解中國的文字、動植物、氣候特徵、自然環境、傳統文化等。這個猜燈謎遊戲更是個親子活動，同學們可把燈謎工作紙帶回家，與家長一起體驗中秋節傳統玩意，完成後回校交老師換取獎品，相信大家一定踴躍參加呢！ 中文科鄧瑞華主任表示因疫情關係，現時未能全校一起進行活動，而學生在課室以外地方的活動機會也相對減少了。因此，今年特意於中文課堂時間安排全校各班分段時間到訪這個充滿中國文化氣息的特別室，希望製造機會讓同學走出課室，轉換學習環境，提升同學的興趣，從活動中學習。而李素茹老師則表示燈謎的設計可讓學生思考、了解事物的特色，以生活化的方式描繪事物，提升學生的思考分析能力。從活動中看到同學們展露出燦爛的笑容積極投入地參與，相信這真是個「同學習，同遊戲」的語文學習活動呢！
