The amazing person who inspired me was Connor McDavid, one of the most famous ice hockey player in the world. He is now 29 years old, but still plays very well in NHL.

McDavid is a Canadian. He was born on 13thJanuary, 1997. He fell in love with ice hockey at a young age, and his skill was much better than his peers.

In McDavid’s first NHL season, he broke his collarbone and missed many games, but he didn’t give up. He followed a strict recovery plan, strengthened his shoulders and proved himself by making the All-Rookie Team.

I am inspired by McDavid. He teaches me not to give up when facing difficulties. Whenever he got hurt or suffered failure, he didn’t lose heart and proved why he was the first overall pick in the NHL draft. I feel the power of perseverance and self-discipline and I want to be a person just like him in the future.
