Giving Advice on How to deal with dilemmas

Dear Nori,

I’ve heard that you feel shy and nervous in class, and I know this must make you feel upset. I’d like to share some useful advice with you, and I hope it will help.

If you lack the confidence to speak in front of your classmates, you can practice more often. After all, practice makes perfect. You may also ask others for advice, as they might have more experience and can give you useful tips to improve yourself.

Besides, I suggest you read more books. In this way, you can enlarge your vocabulary and learn how to give a better presentation. You can read during recess or in your spare time. While reading, try putting what you have learnt into practice at once, so you can make progress faster.

Last but not least, always keep a smile on your face. Teachers and classmates are always happy to see people who smile. A warm smile can bring a friendly mood to everyone around you, as well as to yourself. It will also help you become more confident little by little.

These are my suggestions for you. I truly hope they can help you become more confident in class.

Yours,
Phoenix Lee
