Stranded on an Island

If I am about to be left on an empty island, I would choose to take a lighter, a knife, compressed biscuits, an umbrella and a medical kit.

I want to bring a lighter because it can help me start a fire easily. Fire can keep me warm, cook food, boil water to make it safe to drink and scare away wild animals. Without fire, it would be very hard to survive on an empty island.

I would take a knife because it is very useful. I can use it to cut food, open things, make tools and protect myself. It helps me survive better on the island.

I would take compressed biscuits because they are light, small and packed with energy. They can fill my stomach quickly, keep for a long time without going bad and are very convenient to carry and eat when I am hungry on the island.

I would bring a medical kit because it can help treat small wounds and reduce pain. If I get or feel unwell, it can keep me safe.

I want to bring an umbrella because when it rains heavily, the fire will be put out by the rain, and it will be hard for you to start another fire because all the wood is wet. You’ll get soaked too, so you need an umbrella.

I think these five items can help me when I’m in need.
