Everyone has a favourite hobby such as drawing, playing video games, volleyball and so on but my favourite hobby outside school is playing basketball.

Playing basketball makes me feel relaxed and free! It gives me positive energy and helps me forget about the bad things in school life such as poor grades or mistakes. You can play with your friends and family at an indoor or outdoor playground. You can pass the ball to them, play Monkey in the Middle or even create your own fun games. Basketball is enjoyable because it brings people together. You can buy basketball shoes that you like.

I have learnt a lot from playing basketball. It has taught me about teamwork, leadership skills and sportsmanship. Teamwork is especially important because it is useful especially when working on projects with classmates or being a group leader.

Besides basketball, I also suggest other sports such as football and volleyball. These sports can build sportsmanship, teamwork and leadership skills which help anyone grow as a strong, helpful and trustworthy person.
