The Princess in the Cave

Once upon a time there was a castle, and a cute little princess lived in that castle. On the right side of the castle there was a witch in a cave, and she had a mirror that could talk. One day the witch asked the mirror, “What is the princess doing?” The mirror said, “The princess is sleeping in her room.” The witch told her giant to take the princess back to the cave. The giant went to the castle and took the princess to the cave. The witch put the princess in a secret room and locked the door.

When the princess woke up, she found herself in the room. It was dark and scary, so she cried. When a fairy heard the princess crying, she flew into the secret room. The fairy asked, “What happened? Why are you crying?” The princess said, “The witch locked me in the room!” The fairy said, “I’ll help you unlock the door, but you must escape quietly because the witch is sleeping.” The fairy unlocked the door, and the princess tried to take the key from the witch’s pocket because she knew the witch might lock other people.
Suddenly the witch woke up! Luckily, the princess had already left the cave. At last, the princess ran back to the castle, returned to her room, and lived happily ever after.

The End!

Teacher’s comment:

Very sneaky! Maybe the princess and the fairy should have locked up the witch before they left!
