My favourite book is Yummy: A History of Desserts by Victoria Grace Elliott. I love this book because there are beautiful drawings of sweet desserts and exploring the interesting history of desserts.

My favourite chapter in this book is the ice-cream chapter. My family loves ice-cream so much that it sparked my curiosity of learning more about the history of ice-cream. First, Ancient Rome is truly amazing because they already know how of create a snowy treat. It was the first sorbet ever invented! Secondly, it is fascinating that Antonio Latini discovered how to make ice-cream and know how to add flavors in the ice-cream. This is very impressive too! Thirdly, I love the Recipe Time chapter because it showed me how to be creative on the decorations and ways to make ice-cream at the same time.

I love the book a lot. I hope I can invent one ice-cream recipe one day!
