Last week, my mom had a fever and was lying in bed with a cold towel on her head. I was so worried about her. She wanted to go to the supermarket to buy some food for dinner, but she couldn’t. Then, she asked me to go and said she had saved some money in her handbag for me. I took my bag and went to the supermarket alone.

A few minutes later, I arrived at the supermarket. I looked at all the food to find some tomatoes and beef we liked. I took some to the cashier and waited in line. It took too long to wait for my turn. Finally, it was my turn to pay. When I wanted to take the money from my bag, I couldn’t find it! I was in panic! I called my mom and she answered the phone soon. I told her what was happening! She was calm and said, “Don’t worry. I put extra money in your bag in the smallest compartment.”

After a while, I finally got the extra money and paid for the food. Then, I went home. When I got back home, I was sorry for losing the money and apologized to my mom. However, my mom was not angry with me. She said, “Don’t worry! Try to be more careful next time!” Then, I made her tomato beef soup. Mom was happy and we enjoyed it. Such a memorable day!
