I suddenly woke up in my room. The wardrobe doors opened, and it slowly came out.

I checked the time and it was around midnight, I said to myself, “It is probably nothing that I can think of…” Then, I went back to sleep.

A few moments later, I woke up to a loud crash. My window was broken! I started to panic, “Mom? Dad?” I yelled. Then I remembered they left for a business trip and I was home alone. At the moment I was shivering, I built up the courage to walk up to the broken window. “Muddy paw prints?” I asked. “But we don’t have any pets?” Suddenly I heard my neighbor yell. “Missy! Come back right now! Where are you going, young lady?” Missy? I thought to myself. Missy! Our neighbour’s cat! “Missy’s in my room, she’s ok! I will bring her back to you sir,” I said. “Mr. Joe, you can call me Mr. Joe,” he replied.

All the noises and racket were caused by Mr. Joe’s cat, Missy. I could finally go back to sleep.
