Last year, Mum and I joined a Junior Trekker program for two days and one night. We started a hike on New Year’s Eve and we met our teammates at Sunset Park. We brought a very big backpack with hiking poles, a folding chair and gloves. First, we had to walk for two hours to a secret place, set up our tent and prepare our dinner in the strong wind. The teacher reminded us to have a good sleep because we needed to wake up at 3am to start our hiking. It was very cold during the walk and I felt super tired. After 16 hours, we finally reached our destination. I felt very exhausted but it was a memorable experience.
