Our school theme for this year is “Empower yourself, Create your future”. To my understanding, “empower yourself” means gaining confidence and recognizing my own strengths and abilities. “Create your future” means to set goals for what I want to achieve in the future, and I believe that I have the ability to create my own path way.

How can I empower myself? First of all, for example, if I have a piano competition, I will practise all day! Empowering yourself is very important because we can see how good we can be and make changes to be a better self!

How is the theme important in my life? As I create my future, I can inspire others with my positive attitude and actions. I will recognize my own abilities, make my own decisions and take responsible actions; and as a result, I will feel more confident in facing my life challenges!
