Aung San Suu Kyi is a leader of the democratic movement and a Nobel Peace Prize Winner. She is a symbol of the Aung San people’s struggle for freedom and is well-known around the world. Aung San Suu Kyi, born in 1945, is the daughter of General Aung San Suu, an independence movement hero. She looks really elegant.

Suu Kyi had a caring husband, Michael, and two lovely sons, Alexander and Kim. At the age of 19, she moved to England, where she completed her university education and got married. Her life was wonderful but she began to miss her mother, who was very ill in Burma. Burma is a poor country controlled by mean military leader. There was no freedom and most people were treated like slaves. She was 78 years old at that time. I know that by reading a book.

Suu Kyi helped her country earn back its freedom and it is worth to note.

Aung San Suu Kyi has inspired me to be a better person by sacrificing herself just for her country’s freedom.

I admire her behavior because she had to be away from her husband and children to set her country free and she had to choose either save her country or be with her husband with cancer.
