On the first day of Chinese New Year, I woke up late in the morning. I put on my new dress. My mom helped me to paint my finger nails and put on make-up. Then, our family went to grandma's house for New Year greetings.

When we arrived at grandma's house, brother and I wished her a Happy New Year and gave her a New Year figt. Oh! My cousin was already here. After grandma gave me red packets, we started playing together. We played video games for the whole day. In the evening, Grandma prepared dumplings, rice cakes and carrot cake for dinner. It was very delicious.

It is the Year of Rabbit. I hope all of us will have a wonderful year ahead.
