Last night, my parents went to a cinema for a movie and left me and my brother at home. After a while, we were feeling very bored, so we decided to watch a movie in the living room.

While watching the movie, my little brother thought he saw something outside the window. So, he quietly went up to the window but he didn’t see anything. The next thing I knew was that he was gone! I went up to the window to find him since I thought he was playing hide and seek with me, but I searched for so long and still couldn’t find him. I decided to shout his name very loudly but he never answered.

That was until I saw a shadowy figure at the window. I quickly grabbed a bat as a weapon to defend myself. However, as I held on to the bat, I felt as if someone or something was looking at me. So, I turned around and saw a man with a creepy smile staring at me. He had the biggest eyes I’ve ever seen and he was holding a bloody knife. After a few seconds, he started to slowly walk towards me. I tried to run but it was too late. He grabbed on my legs and was ready to stab me with the knife.

He lifted his knife and I suddenly woke up. It turned out that I fell asleep while watching the movie. So, we decided to go to our bedrooms to get some sleep.
