Last week, my mom was really sick. Since she couldn’t go grocery shopping because she might infect people. Therefore, she told me to take her money to buy groceries so that she could cook tonight’s dinner since my dad was at work.

I walked for a long time and finally, I arrived at the store. I got all the groceries and started lining up for the checkout. While I was lining up for the checkout, I realized that I had lost my mom’s money. I was so impatient, so I rushed to try and find the money. I was making a huge mess in the store. The store manager tried to stop me, but I couldn’t think about anything except my mom’s money. After a while, the store manager caught me and forced me to clean up the mess I had made. After cleaning, I still couldn’t find the money, so I called my mom and she said I had to calm down; eventually, I found it. I did exactly that and found it at the corner of a shelf. I was relieved that I found my mom’s money back, so I rushed to the check-out counter and paid for the groceries. Luckily, they weren’t too heavy, so I carried them all the way home.

Finally, I arrived home, but the house was completely dark. All of a sudden, the lights turned on. All my family members and friends were there shouting, “Surprise! Happy Birthday!” I had forgotten that it was my own birthday. Silly me! Anyway, we partied the whole day until my friends left. It was the best day ever!
