s Teresa Chung believes that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically and socially. It is her desire as an educator to help students unveil their fullest potential.

Every classroom presents a unique community of learners that varies from abilities to learning styles. There are three elements that are conducive, such as the teacher acting as a guide, allowing the child's natural curiosity to direct their learning, and promoting respect for all things and people.

Something about IB, IE and BBL…
The philosophies of “International Baccalaureate”, “Invitational Education” and “Brain-Based Learning” encourage Ms Chung to be international-minded, invitational in education and positive in attitude to teach and learn. Therefore, as a teacher, it is her role to give children the tools with which to cultivate their own gardens of knowledge, through an open sharing of ideas and a judicious approach to discipline.

Let the children's laughter remind us...
Teaching is a lifelong process of learning from the children. Children have taught her to open her mind and her heart. One of her hopes as an educator is to instill a love of learning in her students, as she shares her own passion for learning with them. She feels blessed that she is working with many compassionate, strong, and dedicated individuals who are excited about working with children here in CPS!
