Giving Advice on How to Deal with Dilemmas
Dear Patrick,
I noticed that you look sad whenever I see you at school. I also noticed that you look lonely. I know you feel down right now but I want to give you some advice to help you out.
First, I think you could try to talk more to others. Though I know you are introverted, it is important to know that just a simple conversation can lead to great things, like having more people trust you, learning more about others and making new friends. Another suggestion is that you could join more group activities. That way, when you work in groups, you get to know others more and just like what I mentioned before, you get the opportunity to make new friends.
Besides, you don’t have to make a lot of friends. A lot of people don’t have a ton of friends, but they have a few close friends to hang out with, so don’t sweat about not having many friends. We all would prefer three gold bars to a hundred pennies, after all.
Last but not least, if you really can’t make any friends, you could try asking people for advice. They know way more than I do, so their advice will probably be better. I hope you can overcome this dilemma and step out of your comfort zone!
Yours,
Elvis
