One chilly Christmas Eve, the whole town was filled with excitement. Children had been imagining themselves receiving their dream toys from Santa Claus. But little did they know, Santa was quite in a predicament. He found himself stuck in a narrow chimney!

The news spread out quickly. Clara was determined to save Santa. She gathered her friends to discuss their saving plan. After discussing for a while, their plan was to cover the entrance of the chimney with butter to help him slide down the chimney. If it didn’t work, they will tie a rope around Santa’s body then pull him from behind.

Time was running out, so they had to act fast. When they arrived, all of them immediately started helping. One of Clara’s friends, Alice, took out a tub of butter, and covered the entrance of the chimney with it. Even with a push, Santa was still wedged tightly.

“It’s time for plan B!” said Kylie, another friend of Clara’s. They knew what to do. The trio tied up the rope tightly and ‘Pop!’

Santa was free again! They successfully saved Santa! At last, all four of them decided to stay in Clara’s place for a while to enjoy our beloved jolly old man Santa Claus’s favourite snack: cookies and milk.
