One Saturday morning, Anne and Kenny volunteered to sell flags for a charity. They walked around Kowloon and sold many flags to different people. After a few hours, they got very tired but they both had heavy flag bags that had the cheerful sound of money. They walked together on the street and decided to go to a fast food shop.

They both ordered the food and found a place to sit. They ate their burgers and chatted happily. They didn’t notice what was happening beside them at all!

When Anne finished her Slurpee, she turned to her flag bag, and she got a nasty surprise – their bags had disappeared!

“Kenny, look! Our bags have disappeared!” Anne cried. Kenny turned around, took a look at the empty chair beside him, and started to wail, too. “What shall we do? Someone must have taken it! It has so much money inside!”

They got out of their seats and started searching for their flag bags. They asked everyone they could see, and finally, they saw a janitor holding two big red bags walking towards the trash bin. “Wait! Miss! Don’t throw that!” They shouted together. The janitor turned around in shock, “Why? Aren’t they just two plastic bags? I thought you didn’t need them.” “I’m so sorry. I will be more careful next time.” She handed them the flag bags and gave them an awkward smile. Anne said, “That’s fine. Thank you!” And the two of them skipped happily to the bank, and gave the money they have got to charity.
