The story starts with a frog named Keroppi wandering around the forest looking for food. While he was looking for food, he saw a little walking puppet. Keroppi asked: “What’s your name?”. “Teruteru”, said the puppet. “Oh” said Keroppi “can you be my friend?” asked Keroppi. Teruteru happily agreed. And that’s where the adventure starts.

Keroppi and Teruteru went to investigate an island right next to the forest and they went about in the ship they had and when they got on the island, they saw something really sassy. A soul, floating in the air. The moon was turning red too! Keroppi wanted to touch that suspicious soul, but it electric shocked him. That made Keroppi scared. While Teruteru was also investigating this island, he got lost. The next night, Keroppi saw the soul again. Then he saw a horde of bloody zombies. He decided to run but there were too many zombies that Keroppi couldn’t even move! When Keroppi finally escaped, he hid in a tiny wooden black house and waited for the zombies to leave. Keroppi waited and waited. When they finally did, Keroppi decided that he must find out what’s wrong with this cursed village. Meanwhile, Teruteru was struggling about getting out of this maze-like haunted village. Keroppi was finding some equipment for survival and living. After that, Keroppi was determined to find his friend.
