My new superhero is called Mister Overload. He is a funny superhero who likes to listen to music and defeat villains sometimes. If there is no emergency, he is seen wandering around “the Big A” and overlooking cities. He wears a full-body purple jumpsuit, two yellow straps originally fastened onto the suit, and very short shorts around his waist. He has an orange horizontal “8” shaped mask worn around his eyes.

He has a superpower that is actually a meme: Rick Rolling. It’s when the song “Never Gonna Give You Up” by Rick Astley is played, and you shake your hands one by one, closed, from the middle to the left, then back, then from the middle to the right, then back again. This is the RickRoll dance, and when you do it in front of a villain, he shows his dancing skills. When there is a powerful villain, he puts his left hand on his hip, opens his legs, and raises his hands up. That is called “The Gold More Hit.” All these superpowers can defeat villains.

Mister Overload sometimes has funny fails. He once tried to jump down the Big A but didn’t watch where he was going and bumped his head on the floor! He also once was flying to the Big 4 and hurt his foot when he landed. Mister Overload is also a smart guy. His favorite place to stay is the Big A, so he bought a bed, furniture, a game console, and an ATV to the Big A and made that place his home. He has lied on the grass before, anyway. He now has a good life, with nice things happening every day.

I chose this character based on the idea of a video game called Just Dance 4. It is the fourth game in the series, and the latest game is Just Dance 2025, released on October 12, 2024. There was the song “Never Gonna Give You Up,” and the coach was a superhero, too. The superhero looked the same except for his colors and outer appearance. I thought the superhero needed a relative to fight with, so I made the JD4 coach a relative. I always think of “Never Gonna Give You Up” the song and Just Dance 4 the game when I look at either superhero. I hope more people get to see my superhero, for the superhero to encourage them, to help them, and to “smash” their stress and bad feelings.
