Pompompurin is a large, round, pastel yellow dog with bright pink cheeks, long ears and a brown beret.
Pompompurin’s favorite thing to do is to collect and hide shoes. His favorite foods are milk and creamy caramel pudding. He usually spends most of his free time sleeping or hanging out with his friends, and his best friend is a little hamster named Muffin.

Pompompurin was so popular that he won first place in the global ranking of various regions in 1997, 2015, and 2016 in the reader voting “Sanrio Appearance Character Award”. Moreover, he ranked second in 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2023. Fourth in 2024.
