Cristiano Ronaldo is a Portuguese footballer. He is now playing for A1-Nassr. He is tall and he is one hundred and eighty seven cm tall. He is very strong and great at football, too! He was born on 5th February, 1985 and he is 39 years old. He was born in the São Pedro parish of Funchal, the capital of the Portuguese Island of Madeira. He grew up in the nearby parish of Santo António.
I knew about him when I was watching the news and heard he was an amazing football player. His story inspired me. Ronald grew up in an impoverished Roman Catholic home, sharing a room with all his siblings. At school, he had trouble controlling his temper and was expelled from school for throwing a chair at a teacher. So, he quit school at age of 14 to practice full time. He practiced so hard that some football clubs were going to sign contract with him. Now, he is one of the best players in the world.
He inspired me that if I am not good at a thing doesn’t mean that I am not good at other things. I just need to practice, practice and practice.
