There is important kit and equipment needed to play football. In football, people wear certain kit. They wear big long stretchy shorts, stretchy clothes made out of stretchy fabrics, and strong small boots made out of leather, plastic and strings. If you are a goalkeeper, you also need strong black gloves made out of leather. You need gloves because they will protect the goalkeeper from hurting their hands when they are trying to catch the balls. In football, we also need a lot of different equipment items to play. We need a white and black ball made out of leather and a goal made out of steel and strings. You need them because when the ball hits the goal, it will make the ball stay inside the pitch. If the ball goes outside the pitch, it may hit the spectators.
