My favourite insect is monarch butterfly because they are beautiful. They mostly live in north, central and south America as well as Australia, some in Pacific Islands, India and Western Europe. Monarch butterflies eat milkweed plants and they are herbivores. They have two bright orange wings covered with black veins and rimmed with a black border and white dots. They look very graceful, but their average life span is six to eight months. Therefore, we need to cherish them.
