Au Pak Hei Achilles
The Special Classmate
On the first day of being a sixth grader, a strange well-mannered boy came into the classroom, it made everybody turning their head towards him.
Before stepping into the classroom, he took off his shoes. The moment he took off his shoes, the teacher stopped him and he bowed to the teacher. Some of us bursted into laughters and I found it offensive, so I gestured to him to do so.
His name is Paul. He looks different from my other classmates. He has stylish hair, reminding me of the cool-looking person I saw walking in the streets of Tokyo.
We started chatting with each other and I found out he was from Japan as I expected. We both enjoy playing basketball and our favourite player is Stephen Curry. We aslo like to eat at Five Guys. We even love to read the same book, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid.”
I think he is a very kind and loving person even though he always gets laughed at. He is still not mad at them. He is also very polite because he always bows to all of us.
At the end of the school day, we said goodbye and he bowed again. I turned around and thought to myself, “I think we are going to be friends.”
Miss Chung’s Comments:
Hi Achilles. The whole writing of your new classmate is really great! You described him with details. The adjectives you used are great! I like the way you wrote as you both shared a lot of happy moments. The relationship between you both is close! Try to check spelling. Keep it up!
